Eastbourne council run eatery to open up for take-aways

An Eastbourne council run pub and restaurant is set to open for take-aways.

An Eastbourne council run pub and restaurant is set to open for take-aways.

The Stage Door in Compton Street has been closed since the coronravirus pandemic broke out but is due to re-open for take-away food and drinks from Friday (May 8).

It will be offering a limited range of its favourite and most popular dishes including beef, chicken and vegan burgers, fish dishes and sides.

There is a minimum order of £15 with free delivery to local addresses.

The take-away menu is from 12pm-8pm every day.

Eastbourne council bought the pub, formerly The Buccaneer, in June 2017.
