Lindfield restaurant takes top prize at national awards

A Lindfield curry restaurant has been named the best in the south east at the Asian Curry Awards.

Tamasha restaurant was presented with the prize at the awards ceremony, which was hosted at Grosvenor Hotel in London.

Shamim Ahmed, manager, said: “We believe we have made it because of our friendly staff and loyal customers.

“Our staff and customers have supported us since we opened.

“We would like to thank all our customers and stakeholders.”

More than 1,000 people attended the awards ceremony, which highlighted restaurants offering a range of cuisine including Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, and Thai.
