A Tesco spokesperson confirmed the 'difficult decision' to stop the bus services to its Bognor Regis superstore.

It added: "Our priority now is to ensure our customers who use the buses are aware of our decision and of all alternative routes in the area so that they are able to plan their journeys. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.”

The free service currently runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, serving older and non driving residents in the Middleton, Yapton, Elmer, Flansham, Felpham and Bognor Regis areas.
