Following the success of Oliver! The Hastleons have moved from Victorian England to sunny foreign shores with the hit musical Summer Holiday.

The stage musical is based on the famous film and follows Don and his fellow London Transport bus mechanics as they journey through Paris, The Alps, Italy and then Greece.

Along the way they pick up three young girls in a clapped-out Morris Minor and a young American pop star on the run from her domineering mother.

The show features a string of ‘60s hits.

Director and choreographer Royah Hamed said: “ The cast of the Hastleons were out in full force on May Day, promoting the show on a red double decker London bus .

“The show is a great feel good musical and the cast have been working extremely hard to capture the mood and sound of the sixties.

“The energy and commitment of the cast has been great throughout the rehearsal period and we hope the audiences will enjoy the musical as much as we are looking forward to performing it.”
