Two properties in and around Emsworth are being auctioned in November and are among 173 lots listed across southern England, Yorkshire and Scotland by Clive Emson Auctioneers.

With vacant possession, a two-bedroom freehold cottage at 1 Jubilee Terrace, East Street, Westbourne, near Emsworth, has a guide price of £225,000-plus.

Joe Rocks, auction appraiser, said: “The terrace of cottages is situated behind other homes but not overlooked and is accessed via a pathway from East Street.”

The property has recently been redecorated and is “ready to move into, making it an ideal home for an owner occupier, a short-term holiday letting investment or addition to an income-producing portfolio”.

In Emsworth, a freehold development site at Fiscal House, 2 Havant Road, with vacant possession, has a guide price of £500,000 - £550,000.

Michael Marchant, a senior auction appraiser, said: “Located close to the centre of Emsworth, a former light commercial/office site has consent for conversion of the main building to form a residential dwelling, whilst consent is pending for the conversion of the other two outbuildings.

“The existing three buildings on site would remain, with the main office building Fiscal House being converted to form a three-bedroom house with private garden and off-road parking.

“The remaining garage/store which backs onto the adjacent church would be converted to form a two-bedroom dwelling, again with private garden and parking.”

The online auction, the seventh of eight this year by Clive Emson Auctioneers, starts on 30 October and concludes on 1 November.
