Back in 1681 Press House included an ale shop, a tailor’s shop, a butcher’s shop and also some living accommodation.

In 1820 the tall part of the building, which dominates the Causeway today, was erected.

From 1893 the West Sussex County Times and Sussex Standard offices occupied part of the building, the remainder was a sports shop run by Attwaters.

In 1927 this shop burnt down and that part of the site was re-developed, creating the distinctive exterior which remains to this day and now adds character to the superb Press House.

Press House has now undergone an exciting conversion and has been sympathetically divided into nine luxurious apartments, conveniently situated in the heart of historic Horsham.

These stunning apartments have the benefit of a lift, contemporary well designed interiors which include stylish kitchens and bathrooms, modern lighting and efficient gas heating, with several having views over the beautiful Causeway.
