Power cut hits Eastbourne
A power cut hit a large area of Eastbourne early this morning (February 15).
The power outage affected the centre of town along with Meads, Old Town and Roselands, according to the UK Power Networks website.
A spokesperson for the company said, “A fault on an underground cable interrupted supplies to 955 customers at 5.54am and all supplies were rerouted between 7.09am and 7.58am.
“We understand how difficult it is being without electricity and apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
