The flat over looks Palmeria Square in Hove with a number or pubs and restaurants within walking distance and Brighton five-minutes away on the bus.
It is ideal for a flatshare, with a large master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, two double bedrooms, a spacious living room, and an extra bathroom with a claw-foot tub. The rooms can be rented out for £700 a month, meaning the winner would easily manage the running costs and have a healthy income left over.
The current owner of the flat, Fiona Koderisch, said “Now more than ever young people are struggling to move out of their parents’ house until they are in their late 20’s, or they’re paying a fortune to rent somewhere. This raffle could change a young individual’s life by making them the owner of such a beautiful flat and living in one of the most fun and youthful cities in England.”
The location of the property also opens up many job opportunities for the winner, as they will be a walkable commute from Brighton and Hove town centres, and just over an hours’ train ride to London Victoria
Ten per cent of all ticket sales will be donated to Rockinghorse, a charity that provides vital support for the patients of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and sick children across Sussex. It is hoped that the final donation could be more than £100,000; the amount that the charity has lost in funding this year due to the pandemic. One of the new areas of support they’re providing for the local community is funding for a specialist psychologist to help children and their families deal with the emotional impact of having cancer. The psychologist will help them adjust to an initial diagnosis, as well as provide ongoing support throughout the whole treatment process.
