Iconic images
An exhibition of iconic photographs of rock stars, Rock Icons, is showing at Lucy Bell Gallery, in Norman Road, St Leonards, until August 10.
Photographers featured include Gered Mankowitz, who is known for his striking and intimate images of Jimi Hendrix, Slade and The Rolling Stones; Colin Jones, who pictured The Who and Mick Jagger early in their careers; Eric Swayne who was part of the ‘in crowd’ of 1960s London; and Brian Duffy who is considered one of the most ground-breaking of British photographers.
The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday 11am -4pm.
