It’s flower power in East Preston

DOZENS of people turned up for an afternoon of summer fun in East Preston.

The East Preston and Kingston Horticultural Society hosted its annual summer show at the village hall, in Sea Road, last week.

And, as part of the festivities, the society teamed up with Littlehampton Dog Training Club, which held a charity dog show at the nearby Warren Recreation Ground.

Colin Crane proved the best grower at this year’s summer show, winning five top prizes for his efforts.

He scooped the David Mackenzie Thorowood Memorial Cup, Ray Brown Memorial Shield, Jenkins Cup, the British Fuchsia Society Spoon and was joint first with Jon Rankin, winning the Beloe Cup.
