Jazz All Stars will deliver the goods

TONY Pitt brings his all stars to St Leonards tonight and the group can be trusted to give an evening of exciting traditional jazz complete with some fast moving numbers being pushed along with Tony’s hard driving banjo playing.

Slower numbers are not neglected though, and this band will prove that they can put a lot of feeling into the more gentle jazz standards from the 1920s and 30s.

Leading the band on the front line will be Alan Cresty (trumpet), Dave Hewitt (trombone) and James Evans (clarinet and sax). The rhythm section will be in the hands of Matt Skipping (drums), Andy Lawrence (string bass) and keeping the band in order will be Tony Pitt (banjo).

This evenings session starts at 8pm with free parking close by.

Entry is £7 for member and £9 for non members.
