Jazzman Len and his All Stars at Azur

TONIGHT (Friday) sees Len Baldwin’s All Stars playing at Azur, Marina Pavilion in St Leonards, courtesy of 1066 Jazz Club.

Len goes back to the 1960s when he was leading his own band the Dauphin Street Six, which toured at home and across Europe. In the 1970s he could be found playing with the Ken Colyer Jazzmen.

Joining Len on the front line will be Alan Greasty on trumpet with John Crockeron on reeds. The line-up for the rhythm section will be handled by Emile Martynon, on drums, Ben Martyn, on bass and, to complete the line-up there will be Andy Maynard on banjo.
