Cradle to Rave is not Henry’s normal comic offering though. It explores the role music has played in the comic’s life - including his on-stage roots.

Billed as a funky, funny and touching show, Henry lifts the on a lighter side of his often madcap and booming personality.

Ricky Gervais famously lambasted Henry for charging £30 for one of his previous shows during his own stand-up showcasing and, with Henry no longer an A Grade star of the stage, some punters may be put off by the price.

Those who are not put off will enjoy a whimsically nostalic jaunt through Henry’s life, with Henry ambandoning the mic for a grand piano, and trading songs as regularly as he trades punchlines.

A rare glimpse into the life of one of Britain’s most-loved comedians. Whether or not he stays at the Park Inn is anyone’s guess.

Tickets are available now from the venue’s box office.
