This year’s event promises to be one of the biggest shows yet, packed with an array of attractions, performances and exciting displays at the Rosemead Open Space.

The autumn bonanza, set to kick off on Saturday, September 14, will feature one of the UK’s best tribute bands – The Tribute Show, who headlined in 2011.

They’ll be performing numbers from Robbie William, Abba and Queen, to name but a few.

There will also be plenty of dynamic displays from some of the town’s top dancing talent, including cheerleading extraordinaires from the Sussex Tornados, the Madeira Dancing and Singing Group, pupils of Dance Industry and those of performing arts group Pointe Rocks.

The event, organised by Littlehampton Town Council, in conjunction with businesses and community groups in the town, will also host a number of family favourites including the ever-popular, free-to-enter pet show.

The competition, arranged by the Littlehampton Dog Training Club, will take place at noon, with a wide range of categories including most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, pet in best condition and the pet the judge would take on holiday.

A bustling community marquee will feature a chance to finid out more about the activities and services provided by more than 50 different groups.

Another marquee will be the venue for the ever-popular horticultural and craft show organised by the town show committee.

Hundreds of exhibits are expected, from vegetables and delightful blooms to outstanding skills in the handicraft section, including the children’s scarecrow category.

Youngsters of the 4th Littlehampton Scouts will be showing off their skills in a display at the open space, too.

The show takes place between noon and 5pm.
