Live show to celebrate the passing of the seasons

The Wheel of the Year live show is a celebration of the annual cycle, taking place at The Stables Theatre, Hastings, on November 1.

IT is a roller coaster journey of evocative and theatrical poetry, story telling, music and song inspired by a deep passion for the seasons with all the associated festivals and customs.

The lyrics of Rose Blakeley are brought to life by the powerful and atmospheric music of Sussex-born Garry Blakeley (Feast of Fiddles).

His stunning compositions are a beautiful combination of folk rock arrangements, slow airs and driving traditional tunes, which weave in and out of the rich, evocative narration of selected poetry and stories by Jane Downes (The Catsfield Steamers).

MD Edd Blakeley (Blair and Friends) on bass guitar and vocals, Phil Hudson (The Lighthouse Family/Tina Turner) on guitars and Jon Ewen on drums and percussion complete this Hastings-based line-up.

Doors open at 7pm.

Tickets are £12.50 (£7.50 concs) and available from the box office on 01424 423221 or online.
