Antique valuation event for Alzheimer's Research UK
Alzheimer's Research UK will be hosting a free valuation event on Thursday, September 9, in conjunction with Dawsons Auctioneers.
The event will be a chance to find out what your treasured items are worth – as well as finding out more about how a gift in your Will can support the charity’s essential work.
This free event takes place in the beautiful grounds of Danny House, at the foot of the South Downs just outside Hurstpierpoint, at 10.30am for an 11am start.
The valuations will be held in a marquee with tea, coffee and cake. You’re welcome to bring along an antique item of your choice and, in true Antiques Roadshow style, experts from Dawsons Auctioneers & Valuers will be on hand to value all items. Dawsons are an internationally renowned and market leading auction house. Their team of dedicated specialists cover every field of fine art, antiques, jewellery, silver, watches, Asian art, ceramics & glass, motor vehicles and collectors’ items.
Research for a cure
Guests will also hear from one of Alzheimer's Research UK’s scientists about some of the pioneering research taking place locally and how gifts in Wills are playing such a vital role in making this groundbreaking research possible.

Through research, we will keep people connected to their families, their worlds and themselves for longer.”
