OPEN DAY: Fire station open day in Bognor Regis

THERE will be fun for all at Bognor Regis fire station's open day.

Crews from the station in West Meads Drive will be hosting the latest of the annual events on Saturday, August 27.

It will give residents the chance to meet their neighbourhood fire crew and have a peek behind the scenes of a fire and rescue service.

During the day visitors will be able to see the crews’ very own version of the Top Gear cool wall, meet the ‘Fire Stig’ and be amazed at the many displays by the firefighters demonstrating the safety work they carry out across the county.

Other attractions will include fire engine rides and simulator, firefighting and rescue displays, a technical rescue unit display, a crash car display, chip pan firefighting demonstrations and even an ice-cream van.

The fun takes place from 10am-4pm. Entry is free.
