Please sir, I want some more Hastleons

IT’S hard to imaging that the dark and dismal tale of life in the Dickensian age as seen through the eyes of a starving, homeless urchin could be so wonderful to witness. But it is. With music, lyrics and book by Lionel Bart, Oliver has been charming audiences for more than five decades.

This week the Hastleons – who despite these tough economic times are still out there entertaining audiences – are pulling out all the stops to make their own production of Oliver an unforgettable experience. Filled with laughter, countless tears and more than a few chills. The show opens at the White Rock Theatre and runs from Wednesday, October 24, through Saturday, October 27, with matinees on Thursday and Saturday. Tickets are still available at the box office on 01424 462288. Tickets: adult £14, children £8, students £10. Concessions also available.
