The free card will help residents on a low income to save money when visiting local attractions, going to the gym, taking the children swimming, going bowling or catching the latest blockbuster at The Capitol in Horsham.

This leisure card offers great discounts at leisure venues and attractions across the District including The Pavilions in the Park, The Capitol cinema and theatre, Horsham Superbowl, Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre, St Mary’s House and Gardens in Bramber, Rookwood Golf Course, cricket, table tennis, badminton, football, boxing and other sports clubs

Plus great savings at other leisure centres across the district and membership is not required at any of the listed leisure centres above.

Jonathan Chowen, Horsham District Council’s cabinet member for arts, heritage and leisure, said:“This is a really worthwhile scheme, helping more people to enjoy the great leisure facilities that the district has to offer.

“I encourage anyone on a low income to take advantage of this offer and sign up for a Leisure Access Card.”

The application process is quick and simple and could save money in the coming year.

Brochures are also available from Horsham District Council’s help points at Storrington Library and Horsham Library, most Horsham District leisure centres, Horsham Visitor Information Centre (9 The Causeway) and other local libraries.
