Easter at Guildford studio

From the pen of Sweden’s August Strindberg, Easter comes to the Mill Studio at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre from Thursday to Saturday, April 19 to 21.

It is Easter, 1901, in a small town in Sweden. Follow the story of a family troubled by the past and fearing for their future as ambiguities mount surrounding an unpaid debt.

As the drama unfolds from Good Friday to Easter evening, the northern snow begins to melt and the first flowers appear. With them come renewed hope for a rebirth, and a resurrection in belief.

Directed by Michael Friend, the cast includes Karin Fernald, Liz Garland, Richard Jackson, Maryann O’Brien, Roger Sansom and Kevin Varty.

Michael Friend Productions have previously enjoyed success in the Mill Studio with Intimate Exchanges, Baby Makes Three and The Millionairess.
