SPORT: Open day in Bognor Regis

They are holding an open day to mark this year’s 40th anniversary of the opening of the pavilion at Bognor Sports Club.

It will take place from 10am to 2pm and will also mark the 30th anniversary of the squash club which meets at the venue on Hawthorn Road.

Ray Kidd, the sports club’s chairman, said: “The pavilion has been recently refurbished to offer a comfortable venue for the associated clubs to entertain their opposing sides.

“The open day will allow members of the public to view the facilities on offer and also enjoy coaching and taster sessions in their favoured sport.”
