Appeal for Eastbourne charity fundraisers to go to Borneo

The trek is next year in 2021 from October 8-21 and the money raised will go to You Raise Me Up, which provides practical, emotional and financial support to families who lose a child unexpectedly.

The info evening is on Thursday February 6 at 7pm at the charity’s office in Faraday House, Faraday Close, Eastbourne.

Lesley Powell from the charity said, “It’s a trek through the primary jungle of Borneo where people can gain insights into jungle survival including identifying edible fruit and plants, see wildlife and visit the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary to learn about conservation efforts being made for the animals of Borneo.”
