TV legend Murray and Roary the racing car

Families can get in the fast lane to fun on May bank holiday weekend as hit pre-school television series Roary The Racing Car zooms into Worthing for the very first time (Connaught Theatre, Sunday May 29, 1pm and 3.30pm)

The production features racing legend, Sir Stirling Moss as the narrator, and the veteran voice of motorsport, Murray Walker, commentating on the big race at Silver Hatch racetrack.

Murray says: “This is the first time a number of characters from the programme will make a public appearance. I am delighted to be part of this new stage show, Champion Of Champions. It is a lot of fun for all the family. Anything can happen with Roary the Racing Car, and it usually does!”

Roary will battle it out with Maxi, Cici and all the other cars to win the Champion of Champions race. Farmer Green has created a new bio fuel to make sure the race is the fastest and greenest ever but Flash has his eyes on the fuel for his skateboard and Big Chris seems more interested in baking a pizza and eating doughnuts than on preparing the cars for the race.

Roary the Racing Car was launched in 2007 on Five’s Milkshake! and Nick Jr.
