Two beautiful exhibitions open this week

The mixed media images in Sally Meakins’ show, in AF1, are informed by and are a response to Sally’s love of narrative, and its many forms.

These images are not strictly narrative in themselves but, fragments, traces and suggestions. the expressions of the possibility for a variety of stories and events.

In AF2 is Angela Young’s first solo exhibition. Her multi-layered paintings are motivated by her concern with the processes of ageing, and can take years to produce as are reworked many times.
