Venue change for Chopin & Chips
Chopin and Chips, a concert by Opera South East, has had a last-minute change of venue, and will now be held at St Mary-in-the-Castle, Hastings, on Saturday, June 29.
Chopin and his lover, the writer Georges Sands, spent the winter of 1838 on the island of Majorca.
Ken Roberts will be playing some of Chopin’s greatest music and recounting some of the stories of this adventure. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £10 (including chips - hence the title), and are available from Hastings Information Centre (01424 451111), Imagen Gallery, in Claremont, or on the door.
