What butler saw at Stables

Preview: What The Butler Saw, The Stables Theatre, The Bourne, February 11 - 19, 7.30pm and 3pm on Sunday.

THE first Stables production of the season kicks off next week with Joe Orton’s manic and irreverent farce, What the Butler Saw.

It was Orton’s final play and considered his best, though tragically Orton was dead, battered to death by his lover, before its first performance in 1969.
