JAZZ: This week at the Hare & Hounds in Portland Road, Worthing, we are pleased to present The Gabriel Garrick Quartet. Gabriel Garrick started playing the trumpet when he was seven. He attended the Royal Academy of Music jazz course from 1991 to 1995, during which time he was playing with NYJO. Since then he has worked with many well-known bands as well as leading his own big band. He is passionate about jazz education and as well as teaching he continues to run The Jazz Academy holiday courses founded by his father Michael. He is accompanied tonight by Roy Hilton on piano, Danny Moss Jr on bass and Malcolm Mortimore on drums.
