The festive season is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for ways to get into the Christmas spirit, then this innovative spa day might just get you in the mood.
SpaSeekers have embraced the beloved festive drink of mulled wine, creating a spa day centre around the warming tipple.
Take a soak in the mulled wine hot tub
SpaSeekers has launched a mulled wine spa day, which aims to use the antioxidant properties of red wine, spices and citrus fruit in order to kick your festivities off in style.
The mulled wine spa includes taking a soak in the mulled wine hot tub, which has subtle and spicy scents of the festive season.
The mulled wine used in the hot tub has been carefully blended to reduce acidity and treated to create a safe and neutral PH, being ideal for reducing inflammation.
Set at 37 degrees, this hot tub allows the pores to open, releasing toxins and allowing your skin to soak up the tannins in the mulled wine.
Tannins are antibacterial and help to fight viruses and fungi, while also improving cardiac health and increasing blood flow.
Spa Seekers explains that the mulled wine hot tub “provides a high level of antioxidants from punches of orange, cinnamon and star anise - giving you a wonderful detox just in time for the party season.”
You can also enjoy a complimentary glass of mulled wine while relaxing in the tub.
Alongside the hot tub, the mulled wine spa day also offers a range of festive-themed treatments, including a brown sugar, cinnamon and orange body scrub, and a Frankincense massage.
Where can I go to a mulled wine spa day?
The first SpaSeekers spa to introduce the mulled wine spa will be the Bazaar Spa & Silk Garden at Shrigley Hall, Cheshire.
The mulled wine spa days at Shrigley Hall will be on offer from December and retail from £60 per person.
If this sounds up your street, then you can sign up via the form on the SpaSeekers website to be the first to hear about Shrigley Hall’s mulled wine spa, and check for further announcements.
