Head Coach Jonathon Haddock commented: "It was a very good day - a very successful tournament.

"My junior team didn't do so well, we drew one and lost four unfortunately.

"But the one thing I took from the tournament was that the children and adults are there to enjoy themselves...even if my team didn't win games or score goals, every single one of them enjoyed the day.

"One really nice thing is that all the players got a medal for their participation which was fantastic.

"It was a very well supported day - from the club's point of view all the mums and dads and extended families came down to support their children and grandchildren and so on, and other teams brought parents along too."

He thanked all those who helped set up the event and said: "Again from the club's point of view, its all the volunteers that help put the tournament together. From the fundraising side that's Barry Elphick, and all the hard work that goes in from chairman Colin Taylor, and then there's all the coaches that put in time to come along and run the teams, the

under-12'a, the under-16's, and the adult section."
