200 health jobs axed to save £9m

Two hundred jobs are set to be axed by Royalo West Sussex NHS Trust to help save it nearly £9m.

The trust, which runs St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, expects to lose 12-14m this coming year- if nothing is done to stop the losses.

To combat this problem a set of measures has been announced called the Turnaround Plan.

The plan has identified 8.8m in saving, which includes the job cuts.
