A beauty with dreams to be crowned Miss Teen Queen UK

Angelica Beacroft, known as Angel, has beaten thousands of hopefuls from across the country to reach the final stage of the competition.

The 17-year-old hails from Staplecross, where her family run Woodside B&B, Yurt and Tipi Glamping.

Proving she is more than just a pretty face, since leaving Legat, the vocational ballet school at St Bedes School last year, Angel has continued her dance training at Hastings Stage Studio and Rye Dance Centre and is studying to become a dance teacher.

She is considering attending one of the major vocational dance colleges in London in 2013.

She also recently qualified at a beauty therapist and helps pamper the guests at the family bed and breakfast.

And if that is not enough, Angel has also attended a number of castings for adverts and film work and has aspirations to become a model.

To prove that good looks run in the Beacroft family, younger sister Jade, 14, has made it through to the final stage of the Teen Princess category of the competition.

Progression to the grand final is based entirely on the public vote by text or phone and only the two girls receiving the most votes out of the 40 girls pictured on the Miss Teen Queen website each month, will be successful.

Angel is in May’s final, so votelines are open now until the end of the month.

By voting for Angel you can also help raise money for The MAD Foundation (Mottey African Development) as the majority of the text and call charges applied to each vote will be donated to this worthwhile charity which helps people in some of the world’s poorest countries to help themselves by working with them, at grass roots level, to develop much needed community resources.

Last year the winners saw first-hand the school which Teen Queen had built in Shia, Ghana, with the monies raised from the Teen Queen competition.
