Local embroidery societies and the public joined in, contributing their stitches to a special sampler that Tina had prepared. Shelagh Duffell of the Wool Shop explained what a complicated and tough job it was in the 11th Century to produce linen from flax. Don’t miss out on all the latest breaking news where you live.
