The school, which opened only two years ago and recently received top marks in its Ofsted report by education inspectors, saw many students scoring A and B grades.

Students across 1066 Country study at the school, which specialises in the arts and business provision.

Jo Townshend, principal, said: “We are delighted with another year of great results, all our students are heading off to university, employment or joining our new Foundation in Art and Design to be held at an exciting location in Rye in due course.

“Our specialisms gained outstanding results. All dancers gained top grades in performing arts dance in year 13 partnered with mathematics A-level securing As and Bs and hot on their heels in year 12, the art and design students gained 87% A grades at AS.

“All the students combine the grades with their portfolio of work placements and a huge CV of partnerships and collaborations with industry to impress employers and universities and fast track their careers.”
