A perfect match

Fine autumn weather and goodf ground conditions greeted competitors at this year's Chichester ploughing match, which took place on Sunday at Madam Green Farm, Oving.

Seventy tractors and five setr of heavy horses took part in the annual event, which attracted a record attendance of almost 2,000.

The site was made available by Peter Hague and Keith Langmead and throughout the day competitors from all over the South showed off their ploughing skills with a variety of modern and vintage tractors and equipment.
