A27 CRASH: Road reopens
The A27 at Beddingham Roundabout has re-opened.
The crash closed the A27 both ways between the Beddingham Roundabout and the Southerham Roundabout.
A Ford Mondeo was in collision with a refuse truck.
Five fire engines attended and the male driver was cut from the car.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital in London.
The crash happened just before noon.
