A27: One lane closed near Chichester
One lane of the A27 was closed near Chichester this morning (Wednesday, March 13) following an accident.
Severe delays built up on the A27 Chichester Bypass eastbound in Chichester between the A259 Fishbourne Road West junction and Stockbridge Roundabout, because of an accident involving a lorry and subsequent recovery work.
It is believed the lorry struck a footbridge.
