A27 road works start

WORK to improve safety and journey time reliability on the A27 near Polegate will start on Monday.

The work will widen the 'free-flow' lanes linking the A27 with the A2270 and involve work on the carriageways of both roads.

Work on the A2270 will take place between 7.30am and 6pm Mondays to Fridays. During this time there will be occasional lane closures, which will be restricted to off-peak hours wherever possible.
