A29 closed after serious accident
POLICE says the A29 will remain closed at Bury Hill for some time following a serious accident late this afternoon.
A car and a motorbike were involved in a collision around 4.30pm.
The road is closed in both directions between the Whiteways Lodge Roundabout at Houghton and the B2138, north of Bury.
Diversions are in place and police advise that the road is likely to stay closed for some time.
