Accident on A27 at Southwick Tunnel
A VAN left the dual carriageway, hit the central reservation and overturned in an accident near the Southwick Tunnel on the A27 this morning.
The driver of the VW Transporter suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
The accident happened at around 7.45am, just after the van exited the Southwick Tunnel, heading eastbound.
Police closed both eastbound lanes while the vehicle was recovered, but all lanes were reopened by 9.40am.
A 16ft section of the central reservation was damaged in the crash.
