'˜Accidental' fence fire in St Leonards

Firefighters put out a fence on fire in St Leonards last night (Wednesday, June 8), that was deemed to be an accident.

Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews were sent to Blackman Avenue at 7.40pm.

A fence was alight and the fire was affecting the property.

Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to put the fire out.

The cause of the fire was investigated and it was deemed accidental.
