Afternoon of multi-cultural celebration in Village

TOMORROW (Saturday March 9) students, staff and volunteers will open the doors at the Pestalozzi International Village in Sedlescombe for their annual International Celebration, offering the local community a chance to meet students face-to-face and learn about their home cultures.

There will be an international lunch, featuring dishes from Nepal, India and Africa, and guests will be entertained by a student play, dances, music from around the world and activities such as face painting and henna tattooing.

In a break from tradition, this year’s International Celebration features a new session called Pestalozzi Question Time, with a panel of Pestalozzi students responding to audience questions about their lives, families, cultures, studies, hopes and dreams.
