Air ambulance scrambled to man with '˜self-inflicted' knife wound

The air ambulance was called to a man with a '˜self-inflicted' knife wound, said police.

Emergency services were called to an address in Honeysuckle Drive, Billingshurst, at about 4.10pm on Tuesday (May 17).

An air ambulance spokesman said the 32-year-old man from Crawley had sustained injuries to his abdomen.

A police spokesman said he was treated for a ‘self-inflicted knife wound’ at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
