The town council wants to give its office and meeting place a touch up as it believes the grade II* listing building is not being used to its potential.

The meeting room used to be a cafe and the building was also a private house at one stage.

Councillors will talk about the upcoming private Sussex police and crime commissioner hustings at The Emmanuel Centre on Monday, April 25.
