Aldingbourne man takes on epic desert trek

AN ALDINGBOURNE man will be spurred on by his sister when he tackles the world's most famous desert.

Kenny Smith is to spend eight days trekking across the Sahara Desert carrying a 20lb day pack for eight hours each day as he crosses the vast expanse of sand.

But he is willing to take on the extreme conditions to continue his fundraising for the MS Trust. He hopes to raise well over £10,000 for the charity this year on top of the some £50,000 he has raised so far.
