GORGEOUS SIGNAGE : We are a village blessed with gorgeous signage and eagle eyed villagers will have spotted our rather fabulous new village sign created by celebrated Sussex artist and sculptor Keith Pettit. It stands proudly in the gardens of the Old Chapel Centre to point people to our Historic Tye and the splendid signs representing the village past and present originally created by Penelope Ellis and the Reverend Frank Fox-Wilson. On the same day this work of art so in keeping with its surroundings was erected, ESCC began their traffic consultation. A two day exhibition at the Old Chapel Centre set out the options and the proposed additional traffic signage for the village! The consultation ends on 24th June, if you would like your views heard you can obtain a survey from Hicks or Steamer Trading or complete online at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/haveyoursay.
