NB All those walking the full 21 miles must pass through Southease by 2pm in order to reach Alfriston. Lifts are available from the finish to starting points.

The BHF said: “This event is free to enter and we ask that you raise as much as possible through sponsorship. You can also make a donation as part of your online entry.

“Come and join this fantastic FREE day out suitable for all walkers. Whether you are a family or group of friends looking for a fun day out or a walking enthusiast looking for a challenge, be sure to get involved. Have fun, get fit and save lives with the BHF.

“All the walks have different start points. We hope that you will enjoy the challenge and variety of the full 21 mile walk, but you may feel happier attempting one of the shorter walks.
