All's set fair for another success

AN Easter craft and gift fair held at St Martha's church hall in Little Common on St George's Day, Saturday, April 23, in aid of the Demelza Children's Hospice proved a big hit with Bexhillians, with some £400 being raised for the charity.

Organiser Louise Wardle said: “It was really well attended and the weather couldn’t have been kinder - it allowed us to hold half the fair indoors and half outside, which I’m sure helped attract many people to come along and spend some time - and money - with us.”

For anyone who missed the occasion, or who enjoyed it so much they’d like to try something similar again, Louise has organised a second craft and gift fair tomorrow, Saturday, April 30, this time at The Mermaid, De La Warr Parade on Bexhill seafront.

Again, the aim is to raise funds for Demelza and a host of stalls, a raffle, refreshments and attractions will be on offer from 10am to 4pm.
