Alpacas die after dog attack at Liphook

Police are investigating after alpacas were savaged by dogs near Liphook last night (Monday, April 18).

A spokesman for Hampshire police told the Observer: “We were called at 5.22pm yesterday evening by a member of the public who had seen two Lurcher-type dogs attacking alpaca in a field off Mill Lane, Passfield.

“The dogs ran off when the man intervened.”

Police officers and a vet attended the scene of the attack.
