Amazon Adventure in Worthing closes '˜until further notice'

In a statement online, a spokesman for the leisure centre in Shaftesbury Avenue said: “Due to essential maintenance works beyond our control, the Amazon Adventure at Worthing Leisure Centre will be closed until further notice.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

A spokesman told the Herald it is not yet known when Amazon Adventure would reopen.

Children’s parties have had to be cancelled but the spokesman said customers had been offered alternate dates, full refunds or alternate parties if necessary.

The Sensory area and big ball pit remain open from 9.30am to 11am, Monday to Friday.
