American mayor visits Sussex
AN American mayor is visiting East Sussex.
Earl Gage, the Mayor of Salem, New Jersey, will be in the Hailsham on March 6.
He is in the area to visit his daughter.
She is studying at the International Study Centre, housed in Herstmonceux Castle.
Mr Gage will be given a tour of Hailsham, and have lunch with councillors and other dignatries.
